
No Date, before 1910 - A "quack" selling seneca oil
Seneca Oil was another term used for "snake oil". Snake oil has origins in China, and was a term generally used to insinuate false medicines. The Senaca were a tribe of Native American Indians who often used petroleum based oils, but were also known to use rattlesnake oils.
